I am a professor in the Capilano University Jazz Studies Department where I teach arranging, improvisation, conducting, and direct a variety of large and small ensembles. Capilano is a great place to teach and work. We offer a B.Mus in Jazz Studies and attract some of Canada's most talented young musicians.  The faculty are among the finest players and educators in the country.

I am the co-founder & director of the annual

South Delta Jazz  Festival and Jazz Workshop

This is a concert series and summer jazz intensive held each July  in Ladner and Tsawwassen BC. 

2012 will be the 9th annual event!
