This band brings together an international group of long-term musical friends.  Len Aruliah (saxes) divides his time between Vancouver and London, England while bassist, Rob Kohler (bass) travels up and down the coast between LA and Vancouver.  Master drummer Stan Taylor’s intense and polyrhythmic playing holds it all together. Playing tunes by Aruliah and Burrows, the band has a melodic and harmonically rich palette with a strong focus on group interaction.  The Quartet’s sound is influenced by Holland, Coleman, Coltrane, and by years of playing together.  In fact this year marks 20 years of collaboration between Len, Jared, and Stan.
